The Royal House is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Johnny Hon as Rector for Greater China.

Dr. Hon brings to this office a distinguished record in international business, investment, education, media, and public service. He is the founder of the Global Group and has developed an extensive career across a range of sectors, with longstanding engagement in initiatives that promote international cooperation and cultural exchange. His academic background includes studies at King’s College London, Hughes Hall, Cambridge, SOAS, and executive education at Harvard Business School.

In his capacity as Rector for Greater China, comprising China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan, he will coordinate and work closely with representatives and regional bodies throughout the territory, supporting their activities and ensuring the effective representation of the Royal House and its mission across the region.

Dr. Hon’s appointment reflects both his international experience and his longstanding commitment to fostering ties across business, education, and society. His leadership is expected to strengthen the presence and mission of the Royal House in Greater China and to support its charitable, cultural, and institutional objectives.
