Americas 2026 Gala Dinner in Los Angeles

On March 21, 2026, the Royal House of Georgia hosted a gala dinner at the London Hotel West Hollywood as part of the Royal Visit to the Americas. Held in honor of Their Royal Highnesses Prince Davit and Prince Giorgi, the dinner celebrated the newly invested Dames and Knights of the Royal Orders of Georgia and brought together approximately sixty guests.

The evening followed the investiture held earlier that day, during which new members were formally received into the Royal Orders of Georgia. All those invested were present at the dinner, joined by officials of the Royal House, invited guests, friends, and supporters.

Guests were welcomed with cocktails before the formal dinner, allowing the day to settle into a more personal and relaxed evening. After the formality of the investiture, the dinner offered an opportunity to catch up with one another, offer congratulations, and enjoy the company of those gathered in Los Angeles for the Royal Visit.

During the evening, Rector Coordinator Maj. Jason Hatch of the United States presented HRH Prince Davit with a ceremonial saber as a gesture of loyalty, respect, and appreciation. West Hollywood Councilman John M. Erickson, Ph.D. also presented certificates of recognition from the City of West Hollywood to HRH Prince Davit and HH Tavadi Kimon Andreou in honor of the Royal Visit.

The dinner also included a moment of remembrance following the recent passing of His Holiness and Beatitude Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II. Guests observed a minute of silence in honor of his life, his spiritual leadership, and his service to Georgia and the Georgian Orthodox Church.

The evening was marked by warmth, gratitude, and a clear sense of shared purpose. It celebrated those newly invested into the Royal Orders of Georgia while honoring the presence of Their Royal Highnesses Prince Davit and Prince Giorgi in Los Angeles.

The gala dinner brought a meaningful day to a close and offered friends and supporters of the Royal House a memorable evening of camaraderie, reflection, and friendship.

Finally, we would be remiss not to share that during the cocktails prior to the dinner, there was a surprise wedding proposal. HE Maj. Jason Hatch, KGEG and Rector Coordinator for the United States, proposed to his fiancée Ms. Tamara Kucik, DEG. We are happy to report that she said yes!
