HRH Crown Prince Davit at a Gala in Honour of the Enthronement of Metropolitan Joanikije

On the day of the enthronement of His Eminence k.k. Joanikije II, Metropolitan of Montenegro, Littoral, Zeta, Brda and Skenderija and Exarch of the Holy Throne of Pech to the Holy Throne of Saint Petar of Tsetinje in the Tsetinje Monastery, in the old Montenegrin Royal capital of Tsetinje, a festive lunch was prepared for the most distinguished guests, who had the unusual opportunity and honour to be invited and to witness this historical event.

Beside His Royal Highness Crown Prince Davit Bagration Muhranbatoni, Head of the Royal House of Georgia this festive lunch and celebration, which took place in the magnificent restaurant of the widely famous winery “Plantazhe”, Shipchanik, near Podgoritsa, was also attended by: His Holiness k.k. On this occasion, His Highness had the opportunity to get to know better and to remain in cordial conversation with the Serbian Patriarch Porfirije, Metropolitan Joanikije, Prime Minister of Montenegro Mr. Krivokapich, representatives of the Group of Friendship with the Parliament of Georgia in the Parliament of Montenegro, as well as many other officials who all, without exception, showed great satisfaction and interest in His Royal Highness visit to fraternal Montenegro and expressed their wish for His Highness to come and visit it again in the nearest future possible.
