Grand Duchess Leonida Romanova The funeral was officiated by Patriarch H.H. Catholicos Ilia II.<\/p>\n
All people have a big mission,which they have to fulfil.There are people,who bear a big cross,despite the fact trust they in God or not they should carry their Cross.But there are some people who bear heavy Cross laid by God,such people such manage to help.<\/p>\n
We Know that Grand Duchess Leonida Bagration-Romanova passed away.<\/p>\n
Batonishvili Leonida was married to the heir to the Russian Imperial Throne.I remember the first years when Mariam Bagrationi,Leonida`s sister who lived here came to me.She was Batonishvili Irakli`s sister,and she told to me that Batonishvili Irakli died,in spite of the fact that here was a communist regime,they permitted us to execute a Funeral service.Irakli was Daviti`s grandfatherand deceased Giorgi`s father,the latter we buried in Svetitskhoveli (Familiar Pantheon of the King`s of Georgia).
One of the sisters,Leonida Was Married to Romanov,the head of the Imperial Family,she will be Buried in Petersburg (the Peter and Pavel Fortress),but she was Georgian and member of the Georgian Royal Family.<\/p>\n
We are Obliged to Pray for her soul and today now we are executing the funeral service (panashvidi).<\/p>\n
