\"Ceremony<\/p>\n

On 6th May 2014 the Rector for Ireland, Dr. James O’Higgins Norman, hosted a ceremony to present insignia to new Irish knights and dames of the Order of the Eagle of Georgia and medals of merit to a number of people who had supported the recent visit by HRH Prince David to Ireland in September 2013.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was held at Leixlip Castle courtesy of the Hon. Desmond Guinness and was attended by The Count Roche and The Baron McClafferty both of whom also received awards on the day.<\/p>\n
