On March 15, 2025, the Royal House of Georgia reached a historic milestone by hosting its first-ever investiture ceremony in the Americas. Held at the Westin New York at Times Square, this significant event marked the expansion of the Royal House’s noble traditions beyond Europe and reinforced its global presence in recognizing distinguished service and merit.
The ceremony was presided over by His Royal Highness Prince Davit Bagration, Crown Prince of Georgia, alongside His son, HRH Prince Giorgi Bagration. Hosting the event was HH Tavadi Kimon Andreou, Rector General for the Americas, who guided the proceedings with a deep commitment to the Royal House’s traditions.
During the ceremony, 14 individuals were formally invested as knights and dames while another two received well-deserved promotions to higher ranks. Each honor reflected the Royal House’s dedication to recognizing service, loyalty, and chivalry.
Prince Davit opened with a welcome address to the attendees and expressed his gratitude for their presence. Tavadi Kimon Andreou delivered remarks on the significance of the occasion and provided an in-depth overview of the vision and purpose of the Order of the Eagle and the Seamless Tunic of Our Lord Jesus Christ, a values-based order dedicated to service and working for the betterment of humanity.
Following the investiture, the Royal Heraldic College of Georgia (RHCG) delivered a special presentation. His Excellency Emanuel Kingsly, Viscount Kingsley of Ft. George, Herald Master, and Her Excellency Tania Crossingham, Royal Heraldic Artist, provided an exclusive insight into the RHCG’s role in preserving and advancing the heraldic traditions of the Royal House. Tania Crossingham’s presentation on the artistic mastery of heraldry illustrated the deep historical significance of each coat of arms and its role in noble lineage.
This inaugural investiture in the Americas stands as a defining moment in the history of the Royal House of Georgia.
