The Crown Prince Davit of Georgia attended the Baptism of Princess Marija Karađorđević in the Palace Chapel of Saint Andrew the First-Called
The daughter of Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Filip and Princess Danica Karađorđević, Princess Maria, was baptized in the court church of Saint Andrew the First-Called in the royal complex in Dedinje.
Princess Maria was baptized by His Holiness the Patriarch of Serbia Mr. Porfirije. The princess was baptized in water brought from the Danube, Sava, Drina, Vardar, Morava, Ibar, Žiča, Prizrenska Bistrica, the source of St. John the Virgin near Devič Monastery and the Adriatic Sea.
Princess Maria wore a Chantilly lace dress at her christening, which belonged to Amelia of Orléans, sister of Infanta Louise of Orléans, grandmother of Princess Maria da Gloria, mother of Crown Prince Philippe. It was kept in the Villamanrique Castle near Seville, which belonged to the parents of Princess Maria da Gloria.
The godparents of Princess Maria Karađorđević were Prince Nicholas of Romania and his wife Princess Alina-Maria, From the Romanian Royal Family, from which the most beloved Serbian Queen, the great-grandmother of Princess Maria – Queen Marija Karađorđević comes.
On this occasion, His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander, as the head of the Karađorđević Royal House, awarded Princesses Danica and Princess Maria with the Order of Saint Sava in the first degree.

Princess Marija Karađorđević is the second child of T.R.H.The Prince Filip and Princess Danica. She was born on November 5, 2023 in Belgrade, and her birth was announced by the 49 bells of the Church of Saint Sava in Vračar, as well as the bells of the Gračanica Monastery, the Žiča Monastery and the Church of St. George in Oplenac.
