The Most Excellent Don Carlos Gereda de Borbón, Marquis of Almazán, Grand Master of the Military and Hospitaller Order of St. Lazarus of Jerusalem, of Nazareth and of Bethlehem, was presented with a copy of the newly issued historic Armorial of the Order of the Eagle of Georgia and the Seamless Tunic of Our Lord Jesus Christ, a splendid edition that has received considerable acclaim by heraldic authorities and heralds in Spain and elsewhere. The volume was presented to the Marquis of Almazán by The Most Excellent Don Alfredo Escudero y Díaz-Madroñero, Duke of San Jorge , Grand Chancellor of the Royal House of Georgia, by the Rector of the Order of the Eagle of Georgia in Spain: The Most Excellent Don Claudio Chaqués y Ramon, Duke of Ferris, and by The Most Excellent Don Fernando Martínez Larrañaga, Count of Agila, Herald of the Order of the Eagle of Georgia.

The Order of St. Lazarus is an oecumenical international Christian order of chivalry, spread throughout the world, and dedicates itself to the alleviation of suffering, particularly the eradication and treatment of leprosy. Its origins hark back to the crusades.
Attending the presentation of the edition to the Grand Master, were various distinguished persons, including The Most Excellent Don José María de Montells y Galán, co-author of the volume, Don Rafael Portell, Don Luis Valero de Bernabé, Marquis of Casa Real, Don Carlos Navarro Gazapo, Don Emilio Mora, and may other friends, to whom I dedicate my gratitude and appreciation for their attendance, and for their friendship. I was contacted by many who wished to be present but were prevented from being there by other pressing obligations.
