CROWN PRINCE DAVIT OF GEORGIA VISITS BRAGA PORTUGAL
His Royal Highness The Prince Davit, Crown Prince and Head of the Royal House of Georgia, was received by the Mayor of Braga for a formal reception at the historic City’s town hall. Senhor Ricardo Bruno Antunes Machado Rio is a Portuguese economist and politician, currently serving as Mayor of Braga, which is the third largest city in the country and one of the oldest in the world.
His Royal Highness was accompanied at the reception by a delegation from the Royal House of Georgia, headed by the Grand Chancellor of the Royal House, The Most Excellent Don Alfredo Escudero y Díaz-Madroñero, The Duque de San Jorge. During the reception, His Royal Highness was present with a beautiful map of the city from the XV century. Mayor Machado Rio extended the City’s hospitality to Crown Prince Davit of Georgia, asking him to return for a future visit whenever possible.
Braga a city and a municipality in the northwestern Portuguese district of Braga, in the historical and cultural Minho Province.
