Prince Irakly Bagrationi Foundation

The Irakly Bagrationi Charitable Fund was created before a notary in Tbilisi, on 3 December 2007, by its founders HE Davit Giorgadze and HE George Sharabidze, as a non-profit charitable organisation aimed at increasing knowledge about the life and work of the man who was Head of the Royal House.

It is also an instrument for holding the charitable and assistance-related activities dependent upon the Royal House. It is governed by the Assembly of its members. The President of the Foundation is elected by the Assembly every four years.

As an independent organisation, the Foundation maintains an open and smooth relationship with the current Head of the Royal House.

As a result of the Russian aggression, the Foundation has acquired significant prominence with regards to its charitable and assistance-related objectives.

Its emblem is a red circle with the Tunic of Our Lord Jesus Christ, with a blue border edged in gold, with the English inscription "Irakly Bagrationi Foundation" written in gold letters. Everything is crowned by the royal crown of Georgia.

President of Perpetual Honour

Irakly III
